More Evidence of Fish as Brain Food!
In a recent study, researchers have once again found that diet can predict cognitive decline. Scientists found that eating fatty fish such as salmon, tuna, and trout appears to boost memory and attention in adults. The researchers set out to determine if low intakes of ALA, EPA, and DHA were risk factors for cognitive decline. Participants underwent tests of memory, attention, and organizational abilities, and their intake of omega 3s was assessed. Those with the lowest intakes were more likely to show cognitive decline over the next two years.
