Healthy Halloween Treats
Trick or treating with the kiddos is super-fun, but coming home with bags of sugary candy is not. Parents who are concerned about the health and well-being of their children (not to mention their dental bills!) can avoid arguments with snacks that will please little palates AND bring smiles to their faces. Below are a few ideas for healthy, tasty, and fun snacks!
Pumpkin is not the only carve-worthy item in your pantry – a personal watermelon becomes a ghoulish brain-teaser with a few flicks of a knife.
Bite into an apple…or it might bite you! These apple slices have teeth, courtesy of a few slivers of almonds!
Bananas become booootiful with chocolate chip eyes and mouths! Add a celery stick to peeled clementines to make mini pumpkins.
